WP Maintenance Mode

Popis

Add a maintenance page to your blog that lets visitors know your blog is down for maintenance, or add a coming soon page for a new website. User with admin rights gets full access to the blog including the front end.

Activate the plugin and your blog is in maintenance-mode, works and only registered users with enough rights can see the front end. You can use a date with a countdown timer for visitor information or set a value and unit for information.

Also works with WordPress Multisite installs (each blog from the network has it’s own maintenance settings).

Cache Plugin Support

WP Maintenance Mode can be unstable due to the cache plugins; we recommend deactivating any cache plugin when maintenance mode is active. If you really want to use a cache plugin, make sure you delete the entire cache after each change.

Exclude list

If you change your login url, please add the new slug (url: http://domain.com/newlogin, then you should add: newlogin) to Exclude list from plugin settings -> General Tab.

Notice: wp-cron.php is excluded by default.

Dear WP Maintenance Mode Team, The plugin is really useful and easy to use. Just the links to the social networks are not working probably, there are always additions to the WordPress page. Can you please tell me if that is intended? Or is there any trick to do? Thank you in advance.

Works perfectly - but it can behave 'funky' if you have some type of cache running, as many have. So.....: If you have any type of cache you need to purge it frequently while working on your page. Specially just before you logout. And that means any cache, WP, FastCGI, Redis, Cloudflare, ***CDN etc. If the Maintenance Mode still ain't showing, clear your browser data (cache and cookies) or try your browsers incognito mode. This worked at least for me. This in mind the plugin works perfectly and is very easy to setup!

I've been using it for years, and looking at others it remains the simplest, clearest, and most understood of everything. For those who want to work with the code or just put 2 words. Then the contact form, the colddown and now the MINI BOT. cool !!!
