Async JavaScript

Popis

Eliminate Render-blocking Javascript in above-the-fold content with Async Javascript.

Render-blocking Javascript prevents above-the-fold content on your page from being rendered until the javascript has finished loading. This can impact on your page speed and ultimately your ranking within search engines. It can also impact your user’s experience.

Async JavaScript gives you full control of which scripts to add an ‚async‘ or ‚defer‘ attribute to or to exclude to help increase the performance of your WordPress website.

Instalace

Installation is very straightforward:

  1. Upload the zip-file and unzip it in the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to Settings > Async JavaScript menu to load settings page

My site had issues with the default settings. Support was prompt & the new settings has successfully resolved 'Defer parsing of JavaScript' issue. Together with Autoptimize Plugin, my site has achieved good speeds & excellent GTMetrix Scores. Compliments to the author for creating very powerful WordPress Optimisation Plugins.
The plugin helped me a lot . The test mode is very good and helpfull. Some times it may need some tweeks but still does the job. The plugin as a whole needs to be treated with care. You need to learn a bit some tricks , and care with most of the js, especially in the premade themes. Overall support is quick for a free plugin and right on spot. No prenium walls to get the features. I hope it stays that way. Keep up the good work.
