Popis
ReplyMind integrates OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini directly into your WordPress comment workflow. Generate thoughtful, on-topic replies to reader comments without leaving your admin dashboard. Replies are posted as the actual post author — complete with their avatar and name — making every response feel personal and authentic.
Two reply modes:
- Suggestion Mode — The AI drafts a reply. You review it, edit if needed, and publish with one click. Full control, none of the typing.
- Auto Reply Mode — Replies are posted automatically as soon as a new comment is approved. Great for high-volume sites.
Core features:
- Author-aware replies — replies are attributed to the post author (with their avatar and name), not a generic site name
- Supports OpenAI (GPT-5, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5 Nano, GPT-4o, GPT-4o Mini, GPT-4 Turbo, GPT-4, GPT-3.5 Turbo), Anthropic Claude (Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.8, Opus 4.7, Opus 4.6), and Google Gemini (2.5 Flash Lite, 2.5 Flash, 2.5 Pro, 3 Pro)
- Six reply tones: Professional, Friendly, Casual, Empathetic, Formal, Concise
- Three response lengths: Short (2-3 sentences), Medium (1 paragraph), Detailed (2-3 paragraphs)
- Reply language: Auto-detect or choose from 10 supported languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese)
- Custom system prompt to tailor the AI instructions to your brand voice
- AI Reply column in the Comments list showing draft status, published status, sentiment badge, flagged status, or errors at a glance
- Batch processing — generate AI replies for hundreds or thousands of existing comments with a live progress bar
- Bulk publish — publish all pending AI drafts in one click (Suggestion Mode)
- Reply log — track every generated reply with timestamp, post, and full reply text
Advanced features:
- Reply Rules — configurable rules evaluated before each reply. Skip spam keywords, flag support complaints, override tone for praise, append pricing prompts, skip very short comments. First matching rule wins.
- Sentiment Detection — local (no external API) keyword-based sentiment scoring. Flag, skip, or auto-switch to Empathetic tone for negative comments.
- Email Approval Workflow — Suggestion Mode can email a one-click Approve/Reject link to the post author. Tokens expire in 48 hours.
- Reply Scheduling — delay Auto Mode replies by 1-168 hours so they feel human rather than instant.
- Per-Post Settings — meta box on every post lets authors override tone, mode, and prompt for that post.
- Multi-Provider by Taxonomy — assign a different AI provider/model per any taxonomy term: blog categories, WooCommerce product categories, custom taxonomies. First matching term wins.
- Analytics Dashboard — summary cards, 30-day activity chart, top posts, sentiment breakdown, error log. All local.
- WooCommerce Product Reviews — extend AI replies to product reviews with product context (name, description, star rating).
- Multisite Network Support — network admin page to view all sites and push settings across the network.
- Guided onboarding tour — a 5-step walkthrough on first activation covering Settings, Advanced Settings, Rules, Analytics, and Batch.
- Info-icon tooltips on every Advanced Settings option so you can hover to learn what each one does.

External Services
ReplyMind 1.1+ does not call any external AI provider directly. All AI requests are routed through WordPress core’s built-in AI Client API (wp_ai_client_prompt(), introduced in WordPress 7.0). The AI Client owns provider configuration, API-key storage, and the network calls; ReplyMind only provides the prompt and consumes the returned text.
The provider you configure in Settings Connectors (managed by WordPress core, not this plugin) will receive:
- The comment text.
- The post context (title and short excerpt).
- Your custom system prompt, if any.
The AI Client sends this data to whichever provider WordPress core is configured to use — commonly OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini. Please review the privacy policy of your chosen provider:
- OpenAI: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
- Anthropic: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
- Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Data is sent only when an AI reply is generated (manually, automatically, or via batch processing). No data is stored by the ReplyMind developer or transmitted to any approidtech.com endpoint.
Privacy Policy
This plugin sends comment text and post context (title and excerpt) to the AI provider you configure (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini) for the sole purpose of generating a reply. No data is stored by the plugin developer. A WordPress privacy data exporter and eraser are included.

Nejčastější dotazy
-
Does this plugin post replies automatically?
-
Only if you choose Auto Reply Mode in Settings. The default is Suggestion Mode, which saves a draft for you to review before anything is posted publicly.
-
Which AI provider should I use?
-
All three work well. OpenAI’s GPT-5 Mini, Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4.6, and Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash all offer a strong balance of quality and cost. If you are unsure, start with GPT-5 Mini or Gemini 2.5 Flash — both have generous free or low-cost tiers. For the highest quality replies, try GPT-5, Claude Opus 4.8, or Gemini 3 Pro.
-
Can I edit the reply before it goes live?
-
Yes. In Suggestion Mode, click Edit & Publish on any comment row to open an editable modal pre-filled with the AI draft. Edit freely, then click Publish Reply.
-
What is the Batch Process tab for?
-
If you install the plugin on a site that already has hundreds or thousands of comments, the Batch Process tab lets you generate AI replies for all of them at once with a live progress bar. In Suggestion Mode you can then bulk-publish all drafts from the same tab.
-
Will this break my existing comments?
-
No. The plugin only adds replies as child comments. It never modifies existing comment content.
-
Is comment content sent to a third party?
-
Yes. Comment text is sent to the AI provider you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini) to generate a reply. Please review the External Services section above and each provider’s privacy policy. Use the
replymind_send_comment_datafilter to exclude specific comments from being processed. -
Can I use my own system prompt?
-
Yes. The System Prompt field in Settings lets you provide custom instructions the AI follows for every reply. For example: „You are a customer support agent for Acme Co. Always offer to escalate to human support if the customer is frustrated.“
-
How are API costs calculated?
-
Each reply generation is one API call. Token usage depends on comment length, post context, and reply length setting. GPT-5 Nano, Claude Haiku 4.5, and Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite are the most cost-effective models.
-
Whose name appears on the AI reply?
-
The reply is attributed to the post author: their WordPress display name, avatar, and email are used. If a post has no author, the reply falls back to the site name and admin email. Multi-author blogs work automatically: a comment on Jane’s post gets a reply from Jane, a comment on John’s post gets a reply from John.
-
I see a provider/model mismatch warning. What do I do?
-
Open the ReplyMind menu in your admin sidebar and make sure the selected Model matches the selected AI Provider. OpenAI models start with
gpt-, Claude models start withclaude-, and Gemini models start withgemini-. -
How can I stop a specific comment from being sent to the AI?
-
Use the
replymind_send_comment_datafilter in your theme’s functions.php or a custom plugin:add_filter( 'replymind_send_comment_data', function( $allow, $comment ) { // Return false to skip this comment. if ( (int) $comment->comment_post_ID === 123 ) { return false; } return $allow; }, 10, 2 ); -
Does ReplyMind require the WordPress 7.0 AI Client?
-
Yes. ReplyMind 1.1+ requires WordPress 7.0 or later and uses the built-in AI Client (
wp_ai_client_prompt()) exclusively — the plugin never calls OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google endpoints directly. Configure your provider once under Settings Connectors and every AI-aware plugin (including ReplyMind) will use it. If AI features are disabled (WP_AI_SUPPORTdefined as false, orwp_supports_ai()returning false via filter), ReplyMind will return an error explaining how to enable them. Sites on WordPress 6.x should stay on ReplyMind 1.0.0. -
What are Reply Rules and how do I use them?
-
Reply Rules let you shape ReplyMind’s behaviour per-comment BEFORE the AI is called. Open ReplyMind Reply Rules in the admin sidebar and click Add Rule. Each rule has a condition (Always, keyword match, category, word count, author email, post type) and an action (Skip, Flag for review, Override tone, or Append extra prompt instructions). Rules are evaluated top-to-bottom and the first match wins — drag rows by the ☰ handle to reorder them.
-
How does Sentiment Detection work?
-
Sentiment is scored locally in PHP using a weighted keyword list — nothing is sent to any external service for sentiment analysis. Enable it under ReplyMind Settings Advanced Settings Sentiment Detection. When a comment is classified as negative, one of three actions fires: Flag it for manual review, Skip generation entirely, or auto-override the tone to Empathetic. A sentiment badge (Positive / Neutral / Negative) appears next to the AI Reply column so you can spot patterns.
-
What is the Email Approval workflow?
-
Only relevant when Reply Mode is set to Suggestion. After the AI drafts a reply, ReplyMind emails the post author a one-click Approve or Reject link. Approving publishes the reply as a child comment; rejecting discards the draft. Tokens embedded in the email expire after 48 hours. Configure the fallback recipient (used when the post has no author) under ReplyMind Settings Advanced Settings Email Approval.
-
How does Reply Scheduling work?
-
When enabled and Reply Mode is Auto, ReplyMind delays each reply by the configured number of hours (1-168 hours = 1 week max) so replies feel human rather than instant. Suggestion Mode always drafts immediately so authors can review without waiting. Scheduling uses WP-Cron, so it depends on your site receiving traffic OR having a system cron configured.
-
Can I use a different AI provider for different post categories or product categories?
-
Yes. Enable Multi-Provider by Taxonomy under Advanced Settings. Map each taxonomy term to a provider + model pair — this works for blog categories, WooCommerce product categories, and any custom taxonomy your site has registered as public. When a comment is submitted the plugin checks every taxonomy term on the post and uses the first matching mapping’s provider/model. Common use: GPT-5 for the „Electronics“ product category, Gemini Flash for „Clothing“ to save on cost.
-
Where can I see analytics?
-
ReplyMind Analytics shows summary cards (total replies, drafts pending, errors), a 30-day activity chart, top posts by reply volume, sentiment breakdown, and a recent error log. All data is local to your WordPress install — no third-party analytics service is contacted.
-
Does the plugin work with WooCommerce product reviews?
-
Yes. If WooCommerce is active, enable WooCommerce Reviews under Advanced Settings and ReplyMind will generate AI replies for product reviews in addition to blog comments. The AI is given product name, short description, star rating, and price as context so replies are relevant to the product. Auto-Reply and Suggestion modes both work, and the full advanced-pipeline (per-post overrides sentiment rules) runs on reviews just like it does on comments.
-
Does the plugin work with WordPress Multisite?
-
Yes. On multisite installs, a Network Admin ReplyMind Network page shows every site where the plugin is active, its reply counts, and lets you push the current site’s settings (API key, core settings, advanced settings) to all other sites in one click.
-
What is the guided tour on first activation?
-
When you activate ReplyMind for the first time, a welcome banner appears at the top of the Settings tab with a „Take the tour“ button. Clicking it starts a 5-step guided walkthrough (using WordPress core’s Pointers API) covering: picking a provider, discovering the Advanced Settings, the Reply Rules tab, the Analytics tab, and the Batch Process tab. Skip or Done dismisses the banner permanently for your user account.

Přehled změn
1.1.1
- Multi-Provider by Taxonomy — the category-override feature now supports every public taxonomy, not just blog categories. Assign a different AI provider/model per blog category, WooCommerce product category, product tag, or any custom taxonomy your site has registered. Grouped optgroup UI shows all taxonomies at once. Legacy category-only mappings migrate automatically.
- Fix: the WooCommerce product-review processor now correctly recognises the WordPress 7.0 AI Client. On sites with no plugin-side API key (relying on core’s provider config), product review replies no longer fail with a „Missing API key“ error.
- Fix: per-post meta box title shortened from „ReplyMind Pro — Reply Settings“ to „ReplyMind Replies“ so it fits the block-editor sidebar column on one line instead of wrapping across three.
- Fix: option labels in the per-post meta box trimmed („Enabled for this post“ „Enabled“, „Auto Reply (post immediately)“ „Auto reply“, etc.) to prevent horizontal scrolling in the narrow sidebar layout.
- Improved sidebar menu icon rendering — rounded corners now clip cleanly against WordPress’s dark blue admin menu, with a subtle frame and full opacity so the branded ReplyMind icon reads clearly.
- Added a „Powered by ReplyMind“ credit in the plugin’s own admin footer, linking to the product page.
- Removed the „White Label / Agency Mode“ advanced setting. If you were relying on it, your custom branding will no longer apply after upgrading — ReplyMind now ships as a single consistent brand.
- Docs: description clarity pass, added missing bold formatting on the core features list, and corrected stale „Settings ReplyMind“ references (the menu is now a top-level sidebar item as of 1.1.0).
1.1.0
All previously paid Pro features are now bundled free. No license key, no upsell, no gating.
New advanced features:
- Reply Rules — configurable pre-generation rules with actions Skip, Flag, Override Tone, or Append Prompt. Conditions: keyword match, category ID, word count, author email, post type, or Always. First matching rule wins. Drag rows to reorder.
- Sentiment Detection — local (no external API) keyword-based sentiment classification with three actions for negative comments: Flag for manual review, Skip generation, or auto-switch tone to Empathetic.
- Email Approval Workflow — Suggestion Mode can email one-click Approve/Reject links to the post author. Tokens expire in 48 hours.
- Reply Scheduling — delay Auto Mode replies by 1–168 hours so they feel human rather than instant.
- Per-Post Settings meta box lets authors override tone, mode, and prompt on individual posts from the post editor.
- Multi-Provider by Taxonomy — assign a different AI provider/model per any taxonomy term. Works with blog categories, WooCommerce product categories, and any custom taxonomy registered as public. Grouped optgroup UI so you see all taxonomies at once.
- Analytics Dashboard — summary cards, 30-day activity chart, top posts by reply volume, sentiment breakdown, and recent error log. All local, no third-party analytics.
- WooCommerce Product Review Replies — AI replies for product reviews with product name, description, star rating, and price injected into the prompt. Full advanced-pipeline (per-post sentiment rules) runs on reviews.
- Multisite Network Support — network admin page listing every site where the plugin is active plus a „push settings to all sites“ action.
- Sixth reply tone — Concise (1–2 sentences only, no padding).
- Flagged comment status — sentiment or rules can flag comments for manual review; per-row „Unflag“ action clears it. The Comments list gains a „Flagged“ filter view.
- Sentiment badge in the AI Reply column (Positive / Neutral / Negative) next to the reply status.
Admin UX overhaul:
- Top-level menu — ReplyMind is now a dedicated sidebar item directly under Comments, with the branded ReplyMind icon. No more hunting under Settings.
- Instant tab switching — all 5 tabs (Settings / Reply Rules / Analytics / Logs / Batch) render up front and swap via CSS toggle. No page reloads, no double-click bug, URL still updates via
history.pushStateso bookmarks and browser back/forward keep working. - Guided onboarding tour — a 5-step walkthrough on first activation using WordPress core’s Pointers API (no external dependencies). Skip anytime.
- Info-icon tooltips on every Advanced Settings option label — hover the ⓘ icon to see what each feature does.
- Powered by ReplyMind footer credit on the plugin’s own admin page.
- Renamed and repositioned „Advanced Settings“ section with visual accent so it reads as distinct from Core Settings.
Platform requirements + architecture:
- Now requires WordPress 7.0 or later. All AI requests route exclusively through WordPress core’s built-in AI Client (
wp_ai_client_prompt()). The plugin no longer calls OpenAI / Anthropic / Google endpoints directly and no longer stores its own API key. Configure your provider once in Settings Connectors and every AI-aware plugin, including ReplyMind, uses it. - Model catalog: OpenAI GPT-5 / GPT-5 Mini / GPT-5 Nano / GPT-4o / GPT-4o Mini / GPT-4 Turbo / GPT-4 / GPT-3.5 Turbo; Anthropic Claude Haiku 4.5 / Sonnet 4.6 / Opus 4.8 / Opus 4.7 / Opus 4.6; Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite / 2.5 Flash / 2.5 Pro / 3 Pro.
- Compliance: extracted every inline
<script>and<style>block into dedicatedadmin/js/*.jsandadmin/css/replymind-admin.cssfiles, wired viawp_enqueue_script+wp_enqueue_style+wp_localize_script. Strict Content Security Policy (script-src 'self',style-src 'self') is now compatible. - Privacy eraser now clears sentiment + flagged comment meta alongside the existing pending-reply / error / processed / generated meta keys.
- Registers a
weeklyWP-Cron interval for use by scheduled features. - Tested up to WordPress 7.1.
