Instalace
- Upload the plugin to the
/wp-content/plugins/media-genie/directory. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.

- Folder tree drag & drop rework in the media library and media panel: folders can now be dragged out of a parent folder back to the root, moved between levels, and reordered within the same level.
- Dropping a folder on another folder’s heading nests it inside; dropping near the top or bottom edge reorders it among its siblings.
- Prevented dragging a folder into itself or its own descendants.
- Public and private folder trees are now isolated from each other — folders cannot be dropped across types, validated on both the front end and the server side.
- Server-side sort handling now rejects folders that do not belong to the requested folder type.
- Drag & drop merge: drop a media file onto another media file to merge them; the source file is permanently deleted and folder/media counts are updated accordingly.
- Restored drag & drop of media files onto folders in the media library and media panel to reassign their folder.
- Bulk-selected media can now be dragged onto a folder together; previously only the first selected file was moved.
- Folder sidebar now appears in the Gallery block media modal on WordPress 7 (MediaFrame.Post).
- Media and folder counts now refresh correctly after moving or merging files.
