Kahel takes its name from the Filipino word for orange, an inspiration reflected
in its warm citrus palette, energetic personality, and distinctive editorial style.
Built as a native WordPress block theme, it gives publishers, writers, creatives,
and organizations a polished foundation for blogs, journals, magazines, and story-
driven websites. Kahel works with the Site Editor and core WordPress blocks without
requiring a page builder or custom-block plugin. Its coordinated templates, patterns,
block styles, expressive layouts, and customizable global styles make it approachable
