structured data to medical websites without requiring any knowledge of Schema.org.<\/p>\n\n<p>Choose the type of facility (clinic, hospital or veterinary clinic), enter the information that is already published on your website, and the plugin outputs a single JSON-LD block on the pages you select.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Supported Schema.org types<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><code>MedicalClinic<\/code> \u2013 clinics<\/li>\n<li><code>Hospital<\/code> \u2013 hospitals<\/li>\n<li><code>VeterinaryCare<\/code> combined with <code>LocalBusiness<\/code> \u2013 veterinary clinics (in Schema.org, VeterinaryCare alone cannot carry geo coordinates or opening hours, so it is multi-typed with LocalBusiness)<\/li>\n<li><code>Person<\/code> \u2013 doctors and veterinarians<\/li>\n<li><code>Article<\/code> \u2013 medical columns and articles, with <code>WebPage<\/code> carrying the reviewer (<code>reviewedBy<\/code>, <code>lastReviewed<\/code>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Facility information with <code>PostalAddress<\/code>, <code>GeoCoordinates<\/code>, logo, photos, Do not enter information that visitors cannot see.<\/li>\n<li>Google does not offer rich results for medical facility types such as MedicalClinic, Hospital or VeterinaryCare, nor for Person. The plugin outputs valid Schema.org data; it does not guarantee any rich result, ranking change or SEO effect.<\/li>\n<li>If you use another SEO plugin, review its structured data output to avoid duplicate Article or Organization data. Article output can be disabled per post or globally, or merged into that plugin's output with the integration options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Google is a trademark of Google LLC. This plugin is an independent product of Redkirin and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them; the names are used only to describe compatibility.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>The plugin makes no external requests on the public site and sends no visitor data anywhere. Three optional helpers on the admin screens contact other servers, each only when an administrator presses the button:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Google Maps share link (coordinates)<\/strong> \u2013 On the Basic information screen, \"Fill in from the Google Maps URL\" follows the redirects of the Google Maps link you entered (for example a maps.app.goo.gl or share.google link) to read the coordinates contained in the final URL. Only Google domains are contacted, only the entered link is sent, and only the response URL is inspected (pages are never parsed). Terms: https:\/\/policies.google.com\/terms \u2013 Privacy: https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>GSI address search (coordinates)<\/strong> \u2013 \"Fill in from the address\" (also run automatically once the address fields are complete and the coordinates are still empty) sends the entered prefecture, city and street to the address search API of the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (https:\/\/msearch.gsi.go.jp\/address-search\/AddressSearch) and fills in the returned coordinates. No other data is sent. Nothing leaves the site.<\/p>\n\n<p>Results of the coordinate lookups are only placed in the form; nothing is stored until you save the settings. The validation tool buttons are ordinary links to Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator with the page URL as a parameter; nothing is sent until you open them.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Upload the plugin folder to <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> or install the ZIP from the Plugins screen.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Redkirin Clinic Schema \u2192 Basic information<\/strong>, choose the type of facility and enter your information.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your hours under <strong>Redkirin Clinic Schema \u2192 Consultation hours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Register doctors under <strong>Redkirin Clinic Schema \u2192 Doctors<\/strong> and select them in the <strong>Clinic Schema<\/strong> box of the page that presents them.<\/li>\n<li>Check <strong>Redkirin Clinic Schema \u2192 Output settings<\/strong> to choose which pages output the facility data (the front page by default) and whether articles are output.<\/li>\n<li>Use <strong>Redkirin Clinic Schema \u2192 Structured data check<\/strong> to preview the JSON-LD and validate it with external tools.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"will%20this%20plugin%20give%20me%20rich%20results%20in%20google%3F\"><h3>Will this plugin give me rich results in Google?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No plugin can guarantee that. Google decides whether to show rich results, and medical facility types are not part of Google's rich result features. The plugin outputs valid Schema.org data that search engines can use to understand your site.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"i%20use%20another%20seo%20plugin.%20will%20the%20data%20be%20duplicated%3F\"><h3>I use another SEO plugin. Will the data be duplicated?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Possibly, for Article and Organization data. The plugin detects Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO and SEOPress and shows a notice. Article output is off by default and can be switched on globally, per post type and per post. The facility data uses its own <code>@id<\/code> values and does not touch other plugins' output, so both sets of data remain on the page until you switch one of them off.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20is%20my%20veterinary%20clinic%20output%20as%20veterinarycare%20and%20localbusiness%3F\"><h3>Why is my veterinary clinic output as VeterinaryCare and LocalBusiness?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In Schema.org, VeterinaryCare is a MedicalOrganization but not a Place, so it has no <code>geo<\/code> or <code>openingHoursSpecification<\/code> properties. Adding LocalBusiness as a second type allows those properties and is valid JSON-LD. This does not guarantee Google local business rich results.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20do%20i%20enter%20the%20animals%20we%20treat%3F\"><h3>Where do I enter the animals we treat?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Under Basic information when the type is Veterinary clinic. Schema.org has no property for this, so it is stored for reference only. Mention the animals in the description text if you want them in the structured data.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"do%20doctors%20get%20their%20own%20public%20pages%3F\"><h3>Do doctors get their own public pages?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Doctor entries are internal data. Select them in the Clinic Schema box of the existing page that presents them; that page's URL is used, or the profile page you set in the entry.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"the%20rich%20results%20test%20says%20no%20items%20were%20detected.\"><h3>The Rich Results Test says no items were detected.<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>That is expected for MedicalClinic, Hospital, VeterinaryCare and Person, which are not rich result types. Use the Schema.org Validator to confirm the data is valid Schema.org.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20plugin%20delete%20my%20data%20when%20uninstalled%3F\"><h3>Does the plugin delete my data when uninstalled?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Not by default.
