The platform handles content creation; this lightweight connector extends the WordPress REST API with SEO metadata support for Rank Math and Yoast SEO. Authenticated clients use WordPress’s standard REST API to create and publish posts. WiloAI adds three unified SEO fields on posts, pages and REST-enabled custom post types: * `meta_title` * `meta_description` * `focus_keyword` Rank Math and Yoast SEO are supported. When both are active, Rank Math takes precedence; installing both together is not recommended. All in One SEO is not supported in version 1.0. Without a supported SEO plugin, the SEO fields are not registered; the backup route remains available. Use WiloAI to manage your content workflow, or use the connector with another authenticated REST API client. The plugin itself does not generate content, run an automatic publishing schedule, send data to WiloAI, or store API credentials. A WiloAI account is only needed to use the WiloAI platform, not the connector’s REST fields or backup endpoint. The optional backup route queues a database-only backup through UpdraftPlus. UpdraftPlus must be active, and WordPress cron must be able to execute scheduled jobs. A queued request does not confirm that a backup has started or completed. Files, uploads, themes and plugins are not included. UpdraftPlus uses the site’s configured remote storage and retention settings; verify the resulting backup in UpdraftPlus. ### Security and permissions SEO writes require the authenticated user to have `edit_post` for the particular target post. WordPress also enforces its normal creation, publication and post-type permissions. An author can normally edit their own posts, an editor can edit other authors‘ posts, and subscribers and anonymous users cannot write SEO data. The focus keyword is hidden from users who cannot edit the post. SEO title and description can be read wherever WordPress allows reading that post. Values must be strings. HTML is removed, and the SEO plugin may normalize values further (for example, Yoast removes line breaks from descriptions). An empty string clears the corresponding custom value. Repeating the same value is accepted. Backups require `manage_options`, normally held by administrators, and are POST- only. SEO access does not grant backup access. A pending backup request blocks another request, and accepted requests impose a ten-minute site-wide cooldown. These checks do not grant new roles or capabilities. Use separate SEO and backup credentials when possible: an administrator’s Application Password has broad WordPress access, not just backup access. For cookie-authenticated browser requests, WordPress requires its normal REST nonce. Remote Application Password authentication uses WordPress’s standard authentication mechanisms; WiloAI adds no alternative authentication bypass. ### API examples Use the same JSON field names for both SEO plugins. The examples below contain no credentials; supply authentication in the HTTP Authorization header through your client’s secure credential store. Update an existing post: ``` POST /wp-json/wp/v2/posts/123 { "meta_title": "Example title", "meta_description": "Example description", "focus_keyword": "example keyword" } ``` Read editable metadata: ``` GET /wp-json/wp/v2/posts/123?context=edit ``` Pages use `/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/123`. Custom post types use their registered REST base. Standard WordPress post creation can include these fields as well. Request a database backup: ``` POST /wp-json/wiloai/v1/updraft-backup ``` No request body is required. A successful queue operation returns HTTP 202: ``` { "status": "queued", "backup_type": "database" } ``` Backup errors: HTTP 401 for anonymous callers, 403 for insufficient capability, 429 for a pending request or cooldown, 503 when UpdraftPlus database backup support is unavailable, and 500 if scheduling fails. SEO uses WordPress’s normal REST errors; invalid SEO values return HTTP 400. ## Instalace 1. Install and activate Rank Math or Yoast SEO if you need SEO fields. Configure UpdraftPlus separately if you need database backups. 2. Upload the `wiloai` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or upload the release ZIP through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. 3. Deactivate older WiloAI or CCZGR AI connectors that register the same REST fields before activating this version. Existing provider metadata is not migrated or deleted. 4. Activate WiloAI. No WiloAI settings screen or shared secret is required. 5. For remote access, use HTTPS and a dedicated WordPress user with an Application Password created under Users > Profile. Use the Application Password, not the account login password. 6. Give that user only the capabilities needed for the intended operation. Do not put passwords into request URLs, source control or logs. ## Nejčastější dotazy ### Is a WiloAI subscription required?
