This plugin allows to create gallery for custom post using short-code.
Shortcode

Showing shortcode on plugin section back-end. 
Using shortcode on back-end & same as its working with phpcode using do_shortcode().
Instalace
Use WordPress Add New Plugin feature, searching „List Custom Post with featured image“, or download the archive and:
- Unzip the archive on your computer
- Upload
list-custom-post-imagedirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ menu in WordPress
- Use shortcode & show post gallery on anywhere

Edited: By the way, it's working fine with WordPress version 6.3!
